2011 WORDS OF GRATITUDE Yu Qian Painting Exhibition

Five years later after Yuqian's first solo painting exhibition at XYZ Gallery in 2006, entitled Fetch A Page of Fairy Tales, the 23-year old young artist will have her second solo exhibition with the title of Words of Gratitude, opening in Dec.10th 2011 at XYZ gallery in 798. This exhibition consists of more than 60 pieces of ink wash painting that the artist aims to express the harmony between human and nature, human and human, by her personal understanding and experience. The style of each work not only inherits the tradition of Chinese painting, but delivers a sense of contemporary touch. The theme of each work also conveys a kind of humanistic care in a purely naturally simple way, while it is also an expression of her words for gratitude.

Through these works, the artist seems to deliver a strong message of what a joy by reading and being benevolent is!
